Cobras 20
Scorpions 33
3rd Quarter
The 5 on 4 advantage for the Scorpions becomes very detrimental. The Cobras commit a bunch of turnovers, and can't get the ball to Hendricks. Hendricks fouls out midway through the third causing it to be a game of 5 on 3. He left the game with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 turnovers. Although the Scorpions are able to get a bunch of steals, they start to get cold shooting the ball. They only score 5 in the third.

Game 64
Ice--- 10 7 7- 11 7 42
Vipers 9- 7 13 6- 4 39
The first half was virtually equal with the Ice up one at halftime. The Vipers struggled at shooting while the Ice commited some costly turnovers. In the third quarter however, Yo Yo Dalton started nailing some big shots as the Vipers were up five at the start of the fourth. On the second possession of the fourth quarter Jerry Daines, the Ice's leading scorer, fouled out of the game with only 5 points. Even with the major loss, the Ice battle back from being down 6 late in the 4th to send it to overtime. Overtime belonged to the Ice, as the Vipers continued to struggle shooting the ball.
Game 65
Knights-- 12 10 7 11 40
Scorpions 10 10 2 8- 30
Clark scored all 10 points for the Scorpions in the first quarter. In the second, The Scorpions went on a 10-2 run but the knights created some turnovers and got some off. rebounds to battle back. In the 3rd, Clark misses three 3-pointers in a row and a jumper and turns it over twice. Lyles hits a 3 and Letty nails a couple of 2's. In the 4th, Clark misses his first free throw of the season. Clark finished off the game with 16 points in the first half and only 1 point in the second, missing 5 3-pointers. For the Knights, Lyles had 11 points and 3 steals; Letty had 12 points and 7 rebounds; and Craig had 10 points. The Knights out rebounded the Scorpions 15 to 6.
Game 66
Wolves 9 8- 10 10 37
Wasps- 7 12 6- 6- 31
Wolves battle back from being down 6 points in the 3rd quarter to win. Wolves finished off the 3rd with a 10-2 run and never looked back. Carter Hanks for the Wolves finished the game with 23 points which included 6 of 10 from the three point line. Greg Harris for the Wasps had a great game as well with 20 points which included 3 of 5 from the 3 point arc. The Wasps' Hormak had 7 rebounds. The Wolves won with turnovers 1 to 8, while the Wasps won on rebounds 18 to 10. The Wasps drop to rank 14 while the Wolves maintain their 8th position.
Game 67
Bears- 10 11 14 12 47
Vipers 8- 12 4- 14 38
The first half was close but the Bears blew it wide open in the 3rd. The Vipers had a great offensive showing in the 4th but they still couldn't stop the bears on defense. Luther, Kerr, and Saunders for the Bears each scored 14 points each. Yo Yo Dalton scored 20 points for the Vipers, but as a team they struggled shooting the ball. The Bears out rebounded the Vipers 13 to 3. The refs favored the Bears which were 10 of 10 at the free throw line. The Vipers on the other hand didn't shoot a free throw the entire game.
Game 68
Killer Whales 4- 4- 4- 13 25
Cobras------- 10 15 10 7- 42
To put it simply, the Killer Whales couldn't shoot worth beans for the first 3 quarters. Mills and Hendricks for the Cobras were making just about everything all game long. Bogart finally started making shots in the 4th to keep the Killer Whales from getting the leagues lowest score of the season. The Knights still have that record at 21 points. Mills finished with 18 points and Hendricks ended up with 20 points for the Cobras. Bogart had 18 of his teams 25 points. As a team the Killer Whales shot 7 of 20 with 2-pointers and 3-pointers combined. The Cobras on the other hand shot 16 of 21 respectively. It looks like the Cobras have gotten over their slump while the Killer Whales continue with theirs.
Game 69
Sharks- 13 12 11 14 50
Dragons 8- 11 4- 11 34
Macey by far was the MVP of the game for the Sharks. He was 5/5 FT, 6/7 FG, 3/3 3PT,and had 26 points, 3 reb, 1 foul and 1 turnover. Although the Dragons held somewhat close in the first half, 3rd quarter shooting hit a nose dive causing them to lose any chance at coming back. Simms for the Dragons shot 6 of 7 FG and had 3 assists and 2 rebounds. I think the Sharks were tired of winning games by 1 point each and so they decided to take a crippling bite out of the Dragons.
Game 70
Cougars 8- 10 6- 7 31
Knights 10 10 10 5 35
Well, the unbeaten Cougars have finally been dethroned. The Knights played a solid first 3 quarters and held a late Cougar run in the 4th to seal the victory. Walters for the Cougars struggled shooting the ball which is ironic considering he has one of the highest shooting% in the...
...league. Walters fouled out in the 3rd quarter to make matters even worse. Gunderson, the Cougars leading scorer, only had 14 points and commited 4 turnovers. The Knights' Letty was the MVP of the game by getting 11 points, 2 assists, 1 block, and 7 rebounds. In the end, the Cougars 1 of 5 three point shooting and their 9 team turnovers is what cost them the game.
