Now that the draft is over, when will the next season begin?

I remember you mentioning that you were going to come out with the preseason rankings. That will be fun to see!

The Preseason Rankings were where the Season Standings were last season.

It looks like the new schedules are up for the new season. You must be raring to start the 2002 season.

How was your Christmas? We have a little hot chocolate that we have intended to bring by, but things have been busy. We'll have to get that over to you.

Vipers- 10 8 9- 5- 32
Cougars 10 8 14 10 42

Sam Mcdonald had 19 points for the Vipers and Avery Gunderson had 21 points for the Cougars.

Ice------- 14 7 6 12 39
Stallions 10 6 2 9- 27

The Ice shot 67% from within the arc and 38% from beyond the arc. The Stallions led the league last year in turnovers and their new draft pick, Larry Burbank, turned it over 7 times of the teams 13 total turnovers.

Cobras 12 11 15 6 44
Tigers 9- 11 9- 7 36

Stephan Mills scores 25 points to lead the Cobras to victory. Their new draft pick, Sid Cassity, scored 10 points while replacing an injured Freddy Hendricks who was an All-Star last year. Jeremy Simper scored 20 for the Tigers.

Sharks 4 14 10 6 34
Wolves 8 7- 6- 9 30

The last seasons champions struggled shooting the ball a little bit, but edge out a win over the wolves.

Wow! You have already rolled out four games. It was cool to see that the Cougars, Sharks, and Cobras all started out with wins.

I also like the shark picture that you posted at the top! They are the "King of the hill" (Or more appropriately "King of the Ocean") until someone knocks them off!

I decided to put a picture of the reigning champions mascot as the web site background. I will change it every season depending on who wins the DBA Championship.

Killer Whales 11 10 6- 7- 34
Wasps-------- 6- 9- 15 11 41

The Killer Whales dominated the first half but fell apart in the second half. The Wasp's draft pick, Fez Warrick, led the team with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal in his first game in the league.

Fire- 8- 12 7 12 39
Bulls 11 4- 7 3- 25

Bill Wyecliff destroys his former team by scoring 15 points and getting 2 rebounds. The Fire were predicted to be one of the worst teams this year because they lost 3 of their 5 players in the off-season, but after game 1, all the disrespect shown in the media has been silenced.

Bears-- 13 10 7 15 45
Dragons 14 9- 6 9- 38

The Bears look like a completely different team from last year after "stealing" the All-Star, Yo Yo Dalton, from the Vipers. Even though the Dragons lost, they look very strong with the #1 draft pick, Charles Graham, scoring 18 points and getting 6 rebounds.

Knights-- 9 9 9- 6- 33
Scorpions 8 9 14 13 44

The Knights hung close in the first half, but then got slaughtered in the 2nd. The Scorpions are definitely looking like the most improved team in the league. Clark and Schecktor had 24 and 14 points respectively in the game.

It is going to be another fun season! The Sharks and Cougars are going to be solid again. I also think that the Bears will be in the hunt for the title. They put up the highest point total through the first round of games. It was against the Dragons (Who were bad last season), but they are improved with their top draft pick.
